Security training service
The goal of this new security training service from JLIS is to improve the security of clients' operations by helping them make substantial and lasting improvements to the behaviours of their staff.
♦ Aligning staff attitudes
In brief:
Organisations put time, money and effort into providing security awareness training to their staff but often do not get a full return on that investment. Any improvements in security behaviours are all too often just superficial and short-term. The reason for this is that a lot of security awareness programmes fail to change staff attitudes. If staff have ambivalent attitudes towards security then no amount of teaching them how they should behave will make any real difference.
JLIS' security training service follows a different approach. It is built around three pillars:
Together, these three pillars make this service unique. They enable this service to bring about substantial and lasting improvements to the security behaviours of all staff regardless of their seniority or function.
♦ Teaching situational awareness
♦ Teaching security common sense
